• Airstrip transfer to camp: A 45 to 50-minute scenic game drive separates the main Amboseli airstrip from the Tawi Lodge property.

• Private charter flight options: Guests using private aircraft or helicopter charters can land directly on Tawi Lodge’s private airstrip, located just 10 minutes from the reception.

By Train:

• Nairobi to Emali train time: A highly comfortable 1.5 to 2-hour journey via the modern Madaraka Express SGR Train from Nairobi Terminus.

• Emali Station transfer to lodge: A 2-hour private road transfer arranged directly by the lodge from the Emali train station straight to the property.

By Road:

• Nairobi to Amboseli driving time: Approximately 4.5 to 5 hours (around 240 km) traveling via the smooth tarmac of the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway, turning south at the Emali junction.
