For a first Kenya safari, 7 days is the sweet spot. A 5-day trip covers the Masai Mara plus one more park; 7 days adds Amboseli or Lake Nakuru at a relaxed pace; 10 days lets you go deeper with Samburu or a conservancy; and 12 days adds a Diani or Zanzibar beach finish. Every Imara itinerary is private and tailor-made, with your own guide and 4×4 — and because we operate our own safaris, you book direct with the people on the ground.

Where You'll Go
The parks we combine into your package — pick one to see what makes it special.
Kenya's flagship reserve — superb resident lion, leopard and cheetah year-round, and the wildebeest migration from roughly July to October.
What It Costs
Indicative per-person, per-day rates sharing — including park fees, guiding, a private 4×4, accommodation and most meals.
$250–$450 / day
Comfortable lodges and tented camps, private guide and 4×4 throughout.
$500–$900 / day
Premium lodges and classic camps in prime locations, elevated guiding.
$1,000+ / day
Exclusive camps, private conservancies and bush flights between parks.
A typical 7-day mid-range Kenya safari lands around $1,950–$2,800 per person. Children, group and low-season rates can bring this down — we always quote the best available pricing.

Verified Reviews
Real, verified reviews synced directly from TripAdvisor and Google — not testimonials we wrote ourselves.
Many safari sites are agents that pass your trip (and your money) to a third party, adding a markup and a layer between you and the people on the ground. Imara Africa Safaris is the operator — we own the vehicles, employ the guides and run the safaris ourselves.
We were born and raised here, and we guide here. When you message us, you reach the same people who plan your route, brief your guide and pick up the phone if anything changes on the ground. That's the difference between booking a package and booking with the people who run it.
