An Elevated Eco-Luxury Retreat with 360-Degree Views of Tsavo and Mount Kilimanjaro
Soroi Lion Bluff Lodge offers a breathtaking elevated safari experience, with panoramic views over Tsavo’s vast plains and wildlife-rich landscapes. It’s a perfect blend of luxury, privacy, and unforgettable scenery.
Soroi Lion Bluffs occupies a dramatic clifftop position in the Tsavo region, giving its guests 360-degree vistas across the plains towards Mount Kilimanjaro. This intimate eco-luxury lodge trades on privacy, elevation and exclusive activity permissions that in-park properties cannot match.
The lodge sits within a community-owned wildlife sanctuary along the Taveta road, roughly 50 kilometres west of Voi in the greater Tsavo ecosystem. Its sunken, camouflaged photographic hide allows remarkable low-angle, close-up encounters at the waterhole, while night game drives and guided ridge-line walks reveal wildlife most Tsavo visitors never see. Elephant, big cats and dry-country plains game headline the viewing.
Just 12 suites are arranged along the bluff, in Superior and Luxury categories with stylish interiors, generous outdoor space and enhanced panoramic views. Meals are served on an all-inclusive luxury basis with three-course plated dining and sommelier-selected wine pairings, and a central lounge with fireplace anchors the property. A spa, swimming pool and panoramic viewing decks fill the hours between drives, and complimentary minibar restocking keeps the all-inclusive promise honest.
The Tsavo region links naturally westwards to Amboseli National Park; a 3-day Amboseli safari makes an easy companion leg beneath Kilimanjaro.
Premium suites with enhanced views, stylish interiors, and generous outdoor space for a more elevated safari experience.
Spacious and elegantly designed rooms with king-size or twin beds, en-suite bathroom, and private veranda overlooking the Tsavo plains, ideal for couples or solo travellers.
Larger accommodation with multiple bedrooms or expanded living space, perfect for families or small groups seeking comfort and privacy.

Dry Peak Season (June to October & December to February): Absolute best conditions for big game tracking and clear skies. As the water sources in the wider Tsavo ecosystem dry up, massive concentrations of elephants, buffaloes, and lions converge around the valley watering holes right beneath the lodge’s viewing decks. Mornings offer the crispest, unobstructed views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Green Season (March to May & November): The landscape transforms into a stunning emerald paradise, dropping dust levels to zero. This is a dream window for landscape photographers and bird lovers, as migratory species arrive along the Taita Hills, and the lodge offers complimentary 30-minute introductory massages in highly tranquil, uncrowded conditions.
