An Unrivaled Sanctuary of Five-Star Luxury in the Heart of the Endless Plains
Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti offers luxury rooms, suites, and private villas with stunning savannah views, infinity pool, spa, fine dining, and immersive safari experiences in the heart of the Serengeti.
Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti brings polished international luxury to the centre of Serengeti National Park, most famously through an infinity-edge pool that looks directly onto a busy elephant watering hole. Raised, secure walkways link 77 rooms, suites and villas with a spa, gym and multiple dining venues, so guests move through the property with wildlife often in view below.
The lodge occupies a central Seronera-area position, one of the most reliable year-round game-viewing zones in the Serengeti, with strong resident populations of lion, leopard and elephant regardless of where the migration herds happen to be. Scheduled flights from Arusha reach Seronera Airstrip in about 50 minutes, followed by a 45-minute road transfer; driving from Arusha through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Naabi Hill Gate covers roughly 320 km in seven to eight hours.
Savannah Rooms offer king or twin beds and private terraces facing the plains; Terrace Suites add separate living areas, plunge pools and outdoor showers; and one- and two-bedroom villas provide standalone privacy with dedicated attendant service. Contemporary African interiors, air conditioning and butler service run throughout.
The lodge is a natural centrepiece for a Serengeti itinerary, and pairs especially well with the 7-day Tanzania migration safari timed for the river-crossing season.
Ultra-luxury standalone villas with 24-hour personal attendant service, in-villa dining, and complete privacy in the heart of the Serengeti.
Ideal for families or small groups, featuring multiple bedrooms, a private pool deck, living spaces, and exceptional privacy.
Elegant and spacious room with king or twin beds, en-suite bathroom, and a private terrace overlooking the Serengeti plains, combining modern comfort with safari charm.
Luxurious suite featuring a separate living area, private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and expansive terrace with panoramic savannah views.

By Air: Scheduled internal safari flights fly daily from Arusha Airport (ARK), Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), or Dar es Salaam (DAR) into the Seronera Airstrip (SEU). The flight from Arusha takes approximately 50 minutes. From Seronera Airstrip, the resort provides a seamless, air-conditioned 45-minute 4x4 transfer drive straight to the lodge lobby.
By Road: Driving from Arusha covers roughly 320 km and takes about 7 to 8 hours. The road travels up through the beautiful Karatu highlands, crosses into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, drops past Naabi Hill Gate, and follows the main unpaved washboard tracks through the central plains.
June to October – Main Dry / Great Migration Season: The premier tracking season. Mild, dry weather thins out the brush, forcing wildlife to assemble around permanent river systems. The Great Migration herds are typically stationed in the Central and Northern Serengeti corridors during this window.
November to December – Short Rains: Brief, refreshing afternoon downpours clear out dust clouds, giving photographers beautiful lighting conditions. The landscape greens up instantly, welcoming thousands of migratory bird species.
January to March – Calving Season: The migration herds shift south toward the southern short-grass plains for calving. The central valley remains highly active with dense resident pride movements and predator action, while tourist congestion drops.
April to May – Long Rains / Green Low Season: The Serengeti experiences its heaviest rain. While some clay tracks require experienced 4x4 handling, the plains turn completely lush and emerald. The resort offers its most quiet atmosphere and excellent seasonal rate flexibility.
