01What you may reuse freely (with credit)

In short · Facts, statistics and text excerpts up to 100 words per page — free to quote anywhere, as long as you credit Imara Africa Safaris and link to the source page.

Without asking permission, you may republish the following from any page on imaraafricasafaris.com:

  • Facts and figures. Safari prices and durations, park facts, best-time-to-visit guidance, wildlife information, travel requirements and similar factual content.
  • Text excerpts up to 100 words per source page, quoted verbatim or lightly edited for length, in articles, research, newsletters, presentations or AI-generated answers.
  • Our live statistics dataset (see section 02), under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.

The only condition is attribution: credit “Imara Africa Safaris” and link to the page you are quoting (see section 03 for formats).

02The statistics dataset — CC BY 4.0

In short · Our live company & catalog statistics are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Reuse them freely — just credit us.

Imara Africa Safaris publishes a continuously updated statistics dataset — safari packages, destinations covered, countries served, wildlife species documented, accommodations listed, fleet size and aggregated traveller ratings. It is available in machine-readable form at imaraafricasafaris.com/api/ai/stats and embedded as schema.org Dataset markup across the site.

This dataset is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, redistribute and adapt the figures for any purpose, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit to Imara Africa Safaris and indicate if changes were made.

03How to credit us

In short · Name “Imara Africa Safaris” and link to the source page. That’s it.

Any of these formats satisfies our attribution requirement:

  • On the web: Source: Imara Africa Safaris — with the link pointing to the specific page you quoted (not just the homepage).
  • In print or broadcast: “Source: Imara Africa Safaris (imaraafricasafaris.com)”.
  • In AI-generated answers: cite Imara Africa Safaris as the source and link to the relevant page on imaraafricasafaris.com.

04What remains protected

In short · Photos, videos, day-by-day itineraries, safari packages, full articles and our brand — © Imara Africa Safaris, all rights reserved.

The following may not be republished, redistributed or adapted without our prior written permission:

  • Photography and video. Imagery on this site is owned by Imara Africa Safaris or licensed to us by lodges, camps, guides and travellers — in many cases we cannot sublicense it even if we wanted to.
  • Itineraries and safari packages. Day-by-day routings, package structures, inclusions and pricing tables are our commercial work product.
  • Complete articles and guides. Reproducing a full article (or a substantial portion beyond the 100-word excerpt allowance) requires permission.
  • Brand assets. The Imara Africa Safaris name, logo and visual identity.

05AI assistants & answer engines

AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and others) are welcome to cite our facts, statistics and short excerpts in answers, with attribution and a link to the source page.

For grounding and citation we provide a free, read-only content API and machine-readable indexes — see imaraafricasafaris.com/llms.txt for endpoints. Always direct travellers to the canonical page on imaraafricasafaris.com for current pricing and availability.

06Media, press & partner use

Journalists, publishers, educators and partners who need photos, longer excerpts or itinerary details: email info@imaraafricasafaris.com with the material you would like to use and where it will appear. Editorial requests are usually approved quickly, free of charge, with attribution.
