Luxury Lakeside Lodge on the Shores of Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge offers a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, with wildlife roaming the grounds and easy access to lake activities. It’s an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Naivasha.
Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge offers something few mid-range properties can: wildlife wandering freely through the grounds. Waterbuck, giraffe and abundant birdlife share the lawns with guests, making this three-star lakeside lodge a gentle, immersive base at an accessible price.
The lodge sits on Moi South Lake Road within walking distance of the Lake Naivasha shoreline in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. Boat safaris head out to hippo pods and fish eagle territories, Crescent Island's walking safaris are close at hand, and Hell's Gate National Park - where cycling among buffalo and zebra is permitted - is a short drive away. The property itself is a recognised birdwatching hotspot.
The 70 rooms span Standard and Superior categories, with double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms and private balconies or terraces facing the gardens or lake. A pool, restaurant and lounge complete a straightforward, family-friendly package with picnic lunches available for day excursions. Sundowners over the lake are a house speciality, and photography tours make the most of the resident game and waterbirds; board plans run from bed and breakfast to full board with halal options and dedicated kids' menus included.
The lodge is an easy base for Lake Naivasha and pairs with the flamingo shores of Nakuru on the 7-day Lakes and Plains safari.
Spacious rooms with double or twin beds, en-suite bathroom, and a private balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens or lake.
Larger rooms with enhanced comfort, better positioning for views, and private outdoor seating areas.
Interconnecting or larger rooms designed for families or groups, offering additional space and convenience.
