This safari will take you to 3 of the best game reserves in Kenya. The safari starts from Nairobi to Masai Mara where you will have the best opportunity to see the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephant).
Then we head to Lake Nakuru, famous for flamingos and over 400 other species of birds.
Driving north across the equator, we travel to the rugged landscapes of Samburu to admire the wildlife and majestic scenery.;

Lake Nakuru turn fuchsia pink with the flocks of flamingos that call it home. Over four hundred other bird species populate this lake of the Great African Rift Valley, ready to take your breath away at the splendor of their daily lives.
Amboseli is known for the herds of elephants in the National Park, as well as the awe-inspiring backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The second highest mountain in the world provides the staid and solid background to your trip.
It is possible to reverse the order of this safari, and some modifications to the itinerary are possible with some extra costs. There is also options to add domestic flights between destinations for a higher fee.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi – Samburu game reserve
With an early start, you will be collected from your hotel, residence, or from the airport if your arrival time is suitable. From Nairobi, you will make your way through the rugged African countryside.
Stunning landscapes will unfold during the journey and you will have the opportunity to stop and take photographs at the Equator as you begin your discovery of Kenya.
Day 2 - Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Full Day spent exploring the Samburu game reserve park.
The day starts with breakfast, followed by a game drive through the national reserve. Your expert Kenyan safari guide will be on hand to help you find and identify the stunning array of animals that live in the park. Along with lions, buffalo, and giraffes, you can also expect to see baboons, warthogs, oryx, hippos and the many more creatures you may only have marveled at through a screen before.
You’ll return to your accommodation for lunch and time to rest and relax in the afternoon. Sunset over the savanna is a sight the behold, and you’ll leave your lodge or camp in time to watch the sun dip below the horizon of the park. The move from daytime to evening sees the character of the plains and forests change, with nocturnal and scavenging animals coming to life under cover of darkness.
Greeted by dinner, your return to your accommodation will be in the early evening.

Day 3 - Samburu – Lake Nakuru National park
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the
opportunity to spot Rhinos, Giraffe and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife.
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here.
The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white
rhino. Lions, water buck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Evening sees you return to your camp or lodge to take your dinner. The third day of your African safari includes:

Day 4 - Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara Game Reserve
The morning offers a final chance to see the animals of Lake Nakuru. You will be taken on a game drive to see the animals and leave the park after breakfast is served. From Lake Nakuru you will continue your progress through the wilds of Kenya and arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve.
Lunch is served at your chosen accommodation sited within the reserve, and you will have time to relax and take advantage of the facilities of your lodge or camp. A later afternoon game drive will mean you can see sunset over the endless plains.
Return to Lodge/Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 & 6 - Full Days in Masai Mara Game Reserve
On this two days you will explore Masai Mara Game Reserve with early morning and evening game drive as the park is too expansive. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna-lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
You will have your Lunch served picnic style whilst you’re ranging through the reserve. With luck you may witness the iconic migration over the plains of the Great African Rift Valley, or herds of animals grazing on the grasslands.
All meals and overnight at tours’ Lodge/Luxury tented Camp of you choice.

Day 7 - Masai Mara -Nairobi
Starting the day early allows for a morning game drive as the Masai Mara transitions from night to dawn. The dawn chorus over the savanna is an African safari experience not to be missed.
Breakfast is served after the game drive, followed by embarking on the journey back to Nairobi. During your return journey you will stop for lunch in Narok town, for a serving of traditional Kenyan food. Once back in Nairobi, you can choose to return to your hotel, residence, or directly to the airport depending on your plans.
